Christmas at the Paw Paw and Nannie's

Christmas Day at PawPaw and Nannie's.  I have realized that I posted my days out of order, so please bare with me!  Here is a picture of Sophie and her cousins Grace and Sydnie hanging out in the backyard playing in their "rock pit."  It's never too cold for kids to be outside is it?!  I think they are immune to the coldness....

It looks like Sophie and Mrs. Potato head were having a stare-down!  We were so excited Christmas morning, we had several toys set up for her already, but when she walked in the living room she went straight to our dogs new Christmas toys!  We will have to remember this for next year! lol...

Our Christmas festivities began Christmas Eve with Josh's family.  We went to church and then back to our house for a late night celebration, luckily Sophie was a champ and stayed up till 10:30!  Here she is checking out some books that her grandparents got her.

So I thought I would sneak a shower while Sophie was preoccupied.....when I finished I caught her eating chocolate candy!

Sophie really got off to the Aggie band at the Christmas parade.  Her little foot was just a bouncing!

Naked baby and Ladybug!

Sophie turned 15 months old on Nov. 14th-time sure does fly.  She weighed in at 23 lbs 14 oz (75th) and she's at the 50th in her height.  She is right on track with everything and had a great check up.  She got her first flu shot along with her other shots which she hated, but she doesn't know we have to go back to get round 2 of the flu shot in a month. She is really such a ham and we are enjoying her alot at this age.  I can't imagine what else is to come!

Sophie loves this chair!  She looks so cute in the chair- i had to get a picture!  She likes to run around naked after her bath and she immediatly made herself comfy. And guess what?! She actually did not pee this time! I don't know why but everytime I try to let her "air out" she goes to the bathroom...#1 and #2.  lol oh well....

Sophie with her great Aunt Sheri.  She loved walking up and down and up and down...this neat bridge my uncle built off his deck.  The white rocks in the background were a hit too!  She kept herself occupied by putting them in a koozie and taking them out over and over

Halloween Ladybug!

Our halloween wasn't that eventful, but Sophie wasn't complaining!  We played in the backyard and handed out candy to the trick-or-treaters

Kemah & Pumpkins

We went with Paw Paw and Nanny to Kemah for my birthday weekend and had a blast.  This picture surprisingly got us all in it (kindof) considering I took it!  We were on the train, Sophie really had fun riding the train, carousel and just dancing to the music

After Josh and I rode the Boardwalk bullet rollercoaster (horrible by the way!) We saw this cute photo op-a jailhouse and look who's behind bars!

We took Sophie to the pumpkin patch and got a few good pictures.  Towards the end though we were having to bribe her with grapes to keep taking pictures for us!

My baby is already a year old-it's hard to believe!  She took a few steps on her birthday but a few days later she actually took six steps in a row!  She will be running by next week:)

As you can see Sophie went to town on her cake!  She started off with one hand then got the other one going!

Im still fascinated by the fact that Sophie can stand! And I love catching her on camera.  She wants to stand whenever possible and likes to do squats as well (a real show off). Only a matter of time before she takes some steps!  Here are a few cute pics
